An Introduction to Enterprise Architect Hands-On Workshop - 1 Day

This one day introductory workshop training course is aimed at all those who will be using the Sparx System's Enterprise Architect who have not used it before or, if they have, then only briefly. The workshop is delivered as a practical hand-on session throughout during which the students will learn to create and manage models, diagrams and model elements in sufficient detail to be competant using the tool on a real project. Various example models will be available and students will given time to start their own models and experiment with the tool.

WARNING: This workshop only teaches use of the tool. It does not teach the meaning of the model, model elements or diagrams in any particular syntax. If the students are not familiar with UML, BPMN or SysML then they will need training in use of the syntax as provided by CRaG Systems role-based methods courses or a KickStart Model Development Workshop. This workshop is not a substitute for that training or experience.

Suitable for:

Project Managers, Business Analysts, Requirements Gatherers, System Analysts, System Architects, Systems Engineers, System Designers and Developers.

Workshop Logistics:

Workshop attendance is limited to 12 students. Courses start at 9.30am and finish at 5.00pm with an hour for lunch and a 15 minute break in the morning and again the afternoon.

On-Site (In-House) Workshops:

The workshop is delivered at the clients' site. The client is expected to provide an appropriate venue, refreshments, XGA/WXGA projector and screen, whiteboard or flipchart and at least one computer per two students loaded with either the 30-day evalution version or a licenced copy of Enterprise Architect.
